April 22 Facebook has taken over my life www.facebook.com so I have been neglecting my blog!
and my work ho hum I MUST do some work or Dermot will kill me.......... April 16 Caught up in the facebook phenomenom - Its top side making new friends, contacting old ones, sending out good karma willy-nilly, jewels, flowers, smiles and hugs, brain training and more.............and then there is the bebo element of getting more smiles than anyone else, sending on cheesy wall posts, just clicking without looking in order to get back something. Discernment out the window and its addictive. And FUN!
Getting into a routine - up at six, cup of tea, start the computer and see who has sent me messages, get dressed, go for a walk (sometimes a bit difficult 'cause its chilly), taking photos (I'm getting a bit tired of the canal walk - have to go in the other direction), breakfast of porridge, check the computer again. IN THEORY I should do some work for Dermot (difficult to concentrate), Aideen comes around and we usually meditate together for ten minutes - must start increasing it - take my blood sugar readings and meds, try and concentrate at work.........so I'm getting there, polé polé bwana (Mombasa saying)- slowly slowly.............. April 15 Grooks (Dash Poetry)THE MIRACLE OF SPRING
We glibly talk of nature's laws but do thing have a natural cause? Black earth turned into yellow crocus is undiluted hocus-pocus. Piet Hein April 13 The MindI will take it all: tongs, molten lead, prongs, garrotes, all that burns, all that tears, I want to truly suffer. Better one hundred bites, better the whip, vitriol, than this suffering in the head, this ghost of suffering which grazes and caresses and never hurts enough.
